We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SailPoint Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our team onsite in Qatar. This engineer will be responsible for the implementation, customization, administration, and day-to-day operations of our SailPoint IdentityIQ platform.
The role requires deep hands-on SailPoint expertise to support our identity governance, access lifecycle management, certifications, and compliance needs. As part of our team, you will work closely with IT, security, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant access across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical owner of the SailPoint IIQ platform within our organization.
- Manage daily administration, monitoring, and support of SailPoint IdentityIQ.
- Design, configure, and maintain workflows, policies, certifications, and role management in IIQ.
- Develop custom rules, connectors, and forms using Java, Beanshell, and other supported technologies.
- Integrate SailPoint with Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, HR systems, and enterprise applications.
- Support identity lifecycle management: provisioning, de-provisioning, access requests, and approvals.
- Ensure compliance through access certifications, audit reporting, and segregation of duties controls.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and apply permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver IAM enhancements.
- Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for internal teams.
- 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on SailPoint IIQ experience (design, implementation, and operations).
- Strong expertise in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), including role management, certifications, and access governance.
- Proficiency in Java, Beanshell, XML, JavaScript, and SQL for SailPoint customization.
- Experience with directory services (AD/LDAP), Azure AD, and enterprise application integrations.
- Good understanding of SSO, MFA, RBAC, and federation standards (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of IT/security experience, with at least 4 years dedicated to SailPoint IIQ.
- SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer preferred.
- Additional certifications in security/IAM (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CyberArk) are an advantage.
